Jerry Levy formed his media agency in 1981 after enjoying success and gaining respect in the ad community as a manager at a top radio sales company and then as the vice president of broadcast planning and buying at Airtime, the largest media independent of it's time.

Now two decades later, JL Media still retains its first three clients: Getty Oil, British Knights and Great Foods of America (H-O Oats, Smart Balance).   Also, JL was an integral part of Snapple's growth from $300M in sales to $500,000,000 in the seven years JL Media handled the business while Snapple was an independent company.

JL Media's FY 2006 billing exceeded $560,000,000.   65% of our billings are advertiser direct with the remaining 35% coming from agencies.   JL Media, focusing solely on the media process of advertising and featuring top specialists in each medium, continues to grow year after year while clients benefit from the knowledge and relationships of one of the largest independent media agencies in the country.
